Alliance waters are now open, on the condition that social distancing guide lines are followed. Keep socially distanced from other anglers and other people who may be on the bankside, unless they live in the same household as you, also do not fish within 2 metres of a public right of way (footpath etc)

| Half a mile North of the river is a pond known locally as the Reigh. This area is also part of the Tyne Riverside Country Park and has an abundance of wildlife. The water contains a great variety of coarse fish (I have been told there are sixteen species.) |
